The Oakland Post

A junior at OU, Lauren Reid is currently a staff reporter at The Oakland Post. Majoring in Public Relations and minoring in English, she has hopes to work in sports PR or sports marketing.

Ever since taking her first journalism class, Lauren developed a love for newswriting. She began working at The Post in January 2020 and is extremely grateful for the opportunity to develop her skills as a reporter in such a fun, flexible setting.

In her free time, Lauren loves watching Red Wings hockey, grabbing coffee with friends and hanging out with her australian shepherd, Scout.
