Tori Coker, Content Editor

Tori is the Content Editor at the Oakland Post. A junior at OU, she is double majoring in Communication and Public Relations. She began writing for the Post as a contributor over the course of the summer of 2021 before joining the staff officially ahead of the fall 2021 semester.

On top of writing stories, her primary responsibilities include running the Post's social media presence across all platforms, monitoring website analytics, and managing branding efforts such as merchandising. She's grateful to be in a position that allows her to creatively shed light on what makes our campus and specifically this newspaper special, and feels lucky to be surrounded by a group of such hard-working teammates that give their all each week to make the paper the best it can be.

Outside of the Post, Tori busies herself as President of OU's chapter of the Association for Women in Communication and also serves as Treasurer of OU’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter.

In her free time, she enjoys binge-watching (and then re-watching) sitcoms, listening to Paramore, sipping McDonald's Coke, and fostering her ever-growing collection of colorful mom jeans.
