Olivia Chiappelli, Editor-in-Chief
Olivia Chiappelli is currently a senior at OU with a major in Marketing and a minor in Public Relations. She began working at The Oakland Post in the winter semester of 2022, and has gained experience through her time as a Features Reporter, Arts Reporter and Arts Editor before taking on the role of Editor-in-Chief.
Outside of The Post, Olivia is an E-Board member and editor for OU’s fashion magazine BeGolden, as well as the vice president of OU’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
After being encouraged to write a blog by her high school English teacher, Olivia discovered her love for writing outside of a strictly academic setting. She discovered how freeing writing could be, and how much she enjoys expressing her thoughts through the medium.
In her free time, Olivia spends every waking moment on Twitter viewing a mix of Harry Styles updates and current pop culture events. She has always had a love for the fashion industry and hopes to one day work for a fashion publication.
