Sophie Hume, Photo Editor
Sophie Hume is the photo editor at The Oakland Post. She is responsible for creating and editing photos while also managing the photography team. Hume started at The Post her freshman year (2019) as a photographer.
Hume has been interested in photography since getting a hold of her grandfathers camera when she was young. Her photography developed through years of trial and error, until she took her first art class her senior year of high school. Now she is in her junior year of college majoring in graphic design and minoring in advertisement. After college she hopes to get a job in the creative advertisement field and eventually to become a creative director.
