My car eyelashes are gone!

The Oakland University Police Department was dispatched to the Ann V. Nicholson Apartments parking lot on Oct. 16 at 12:35 a.m., following complaints of damaged property. A woman returned to her car that evening and discovered that the plastic car eyelashes that had been glued to her headlights had been cut off. The value of the car eyelashes was estimated to be around $20. When the officer on the scene approached the woman’s car, he found the car eyelashes on the ground in front of the headlights. OUPD was unable to locate a suspect on camera  and told the woman there was a strong chance they might not find out who cut the lashes.

Marijuana mayhem

On Oct. 16, two OUPD officers were sent to Hill House to investigate individuals suspected of smoking marijuana. The officers immediately smelled marijuana when they stepped inside the building. They found four suspects, two males and two females. Officers interviewed an individual who turned out to be a guest on campus. They confiscated a bag of marijuana from this individual that ended up containing 5.8 grams. This individual was asked to leave campus, and one of the female suspects, who did not appear to be under the influence, agreed to drive two of the suspects home as a designated driver.
