Gabrielle Gappy, Science & Technology Editor

Gabrielle Gappy is a senior pursuing a degree in Biology, with hopes to attend medical school and become a physician. In addition to serving as the Science and Technology Editor for the Oakland Post, she is also a bioinformatics research assistant and is President of the student organization Current Events in Health and Medicine OU.

Gabrielle decided to join The Post in this role due to an interest in the intersection of science and technology with daily living, and a long-time affinity for writing. She has enjoyed getting to meet and connect with a wide variety of people through the Post, and hopes to produce stories that will positively impact the Oakland community and beyond, all while working with an inspiring and talented group.

You may also find her trying new restaurants or coffee shops in the area, playing any sport, or with her AirPods in, listening to music.
