Mallory Waligora, Political Editor

Mallory is a sophomore at Oakland University double majoring in International Relations and Public Relations. She is also pursuing a minor in French Language and Literature. She joined The Post in 2023 as a Political Reporter. She became the Political Editor in the winter semester of 2024 and is beyond excited to oversee the section. She enjoys all types of politics-related content that goes into the section- from local to global news.

Outside of religiously listening to the news, you can catch her playing pickleball and watching movies. Some of her favorite movies include “When Harry Met Sally” and “Little Miss Sunshine." She also bets on the Oscars every year (and won big last year!). She’s also the biggest Lions fan you’ll probably ever meet and unironically believes they’re winning the Super Bowl every single year. Forward down the field!
