Mallory Waligora, Political Editor

Mallory is a junior triple majoring in International Relations, French Language and Literature and Public Relations/Communications. She joined The Post in 2023 as a Political Reporter. She became the Political Editor in the winter semester of 2024 and is beyond excited to oversee the section. She enjoys all types of politics-related content that goes into the section- from local to state to global news.

Last summer, Mallory lived out of only a backpack and interrailed across Europe (seriously, packing light as a girl is an art form). She also studied abroad in Prague through Charles University and spent time learning about communism, taking Czech language classes and feasting on Czech cuisine. She’s pretty sure she ate her entire body weight in goulash.

Outside of religiously listening to the news, you can catch her playing pickleball and watching movies. Her favorite movies include “When Harry Met Sally” and “Little Miss Sunshine." She also bets on the Oscars every year (and won big last year!). She’s also the biggest Lions fan you’ll probably ever meet and unironically believes they’re winning the Super Bowl every single year. One Pride!
