Mallory Waligora, Political Editor
Mallory is a junior majoring in International Relations, French and Public Relations. She joined The Post in 2023 as a Political Reporter and became the Political Editor in the spring of 2024. She covers a national beat.
In the newsroom, she’s always helping someone hyperlink Congress.gov pages or breaking down SCOTUS rulings in a way that’s not confusing. One time, she even helped a graphic designer set up his stock portfolio. (She’s secretly a stock bro and refuses to admit it).
One summer, Mallory lived out of only a backpack and interrailed across Europe (seriously, packing light as a girl is an art form). She studied abroad in Prague, where she learned some Czech and ate her entire body weight in goulash.
Outside of religiously listening to the news, you can catch her playing on OU’s recreational pickleball team. She fully believes the Lions are winning the Super Bowl every year. She loves hustling her guy friends in fantasy football and proudly drafts players based solely on how cute they are.
