A smoke detector went off in the Human Health Building today around 10 a.m., evacuating everyone in it.

According to the Oakland University Police Department, dust from construction set off the alarms. There was no fire and no one was injured.

Both OUPD and the Rochester Fire Department were called to the scene.

The building, though open, is still currently being worked on by construction crews.
