OU Bands Preview

The opening performance for the OU Bands will take place Oct. 17 from 8 to 10 p.m. in Varner Recital Hall. The event will include performances by the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band and  Golden Grizzlies Band. The bands will be conducted by Gregory Cunningham and Kenneth Kroesche. OU Degrees and Majors Fair: Speed Dating Style

The First Year Advising Center is hosting its Fourth Annual Degrees and Majors Fair on Oct. 18 from noon to 1 p.m in the Banquet Rooms of the Oakland Center. This event gives students a chance to see what majors are offered, and allows them to talk with other students about their majors. It is set up as a speed dating style to get students moving and interacting all around the room. The event is free to all student. Refreshments will be served. Meet the Candidates Open House

The Office of Government and Community Relations at Oakland University will host a Meet the  Candidates Open House on Oct. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m in the OU INCubator. This event gives students a chance to meet the candidates running for office in the 8th and 11th Congressional Districts, state wide and Oakland County.
