Maria is a senior and a new reporter with The Post. She’s double majoring in PR & Advertising and Piano Performance. An avid reader of nonfiction, she got more into writing the more she read. As she became more immersed in both of her majors, her passion for writing grew.

Art is essential to her. With her rich artistic background, she aims to write stories that make others realize creativity is central to a happy life. Some of her favorite artists include Elvis, David Bowie, Queen, Rachmaninoff and Chopin.

Maria enjoys many facets within PR, so her goal at the moment is to explore everything. Coming from a family in real estate development, she does also consider that route for a career. Her ideal career is one that seamlessly combines creativity with business transactions.
