We’ll be honest: after GOP candidate John McCain’s recent “dog ate my debate” show (thanks TPM) we’re not 100% sure that his first scheduled debate with Barack Obama will proceed as planned, tonight at 9p.m. However, we here in The Oakland Post not only believe in the candidates’ resolve for finding ways to yell at each other, we believe that they’ll do anything to achieve those means. As such; join us tonight as we deliver the straight scoop on what Obama and McCain have to say, the opinionated banter of The Oakland Post staff as well as many students and faculty as we take in what is sure to be an unforgettable 90 minutes of American democracy at work.
