In this photo, a front view of O’Dowd Hall at night. The photo was taken at 8:13 p.m.. Night classes were most likely being held at O’Dowd and students were heading home, going to sleep for the next day.

Oakland University’s campus at night is a pleasant sight. O’Dowd’s glass building is a unique sight on the campus. The lights are visible from the interior.

While it is picturesque during the day, OU’s campus at night is obviously different. At night very few people can be seen walking around. The lights in the buildings are usually the only things that can be seen. Kresge library is lit up, filled with students studying till it closes. But for those who like nighttime, it is a nice experience to see the campus lit up at night. Seeing buildings such as the front of Elliot, the Oakland Center, and the science building lit up at night is a different experience.

Those who are interested in photography would enjoy the opportunity to take photos of OU’s campus.

But of the best sights for OU at night: O’Dowd’s glass building offers the best. The lights look different on O’Dowd compared to the other buildings, but the buildings are quite a sight.
