As the staff at The Oakland Post raced against the usual Tuesday night deadline, their spirits were temporarily lifted. In came a gigantic bowl of chip dip, the largest I’ve ever seen. Many of the Posties agreed and continued to plow potato chips through the massive pile of dip. The food helped fuel the minds of the staff members and allowed them a nice break from their work.

Although many of us were a little suspicious of the quality of the dip, we continued to stuff our faces and spread the word of the delicious and unhealthy treat.

It was a good excuse to kick back, have a few good laughs, then get back to work.

Many fun and interesting things happen at the Post on production nights. This keeps us sane and able to fill the paper with news and graphics. It’s not just a work place, it’s a bedroom, homework station, and even a place to hang out at. So, to see so many of us get so excited over the dip…that’s no surprise. We enjoyed it!
