Changing seasons in Michigan

For the last two days, this photo best represents what the weather has been like in the last few days. This was taken during the early afternoon, when the snow was coming down hard. I took the photo because I was amused at the fact that it’s April and not too long ago, we had thought that it was time to put away our winter clothes.

Originally, I wanted to go to the top of Hannah Hall to take a photo but recently a sign has been placed saying that if the door to the roof is opened, an alarm goes off. Not wanting to risk it, I decided to head to the library and take a shot from the inside. After looking at the photos I took on my camera, I decided to take a few more just so I could have a few choices to choose from when I was writing this. After looking at the shots I took from the library, I had realized that my reflection was in all of them and was glad that I had taken some more shots outside.

What I like about this shot best is that to me, it showed that despite the warm weather it seemed that winter wasn’t exactly ready to make way for spring.
