The Golden Grizzlies improved to 13-1 in the Summit League with a 85-72 win over Southern Utah Thursday night.

Sophomore Drew Maynard and junior Will Hudson scored 17 point apiece to lead Oakland University.

OU was actually outshot by the Thunderbirds, 53 to 48 percent, but the Grizzlies held a distinct advanatge in rebounding.

Oakland will play at UMKC Saturday night before returning home to close out the regular season.
