Kay Felder drafted by Cavs at No. 54 overall

After eighteen years of dreaming of playing in the NBA, Kay Felder can finally live it. The former Oakland University point guard was picked up for $2.4 million by the NBA champs Cleveland Cavaliers on early Friday morning, according to DraftExpress.

His No. 54 overall pick was actually the Atlanta Hawks’, but reports filtered out that the Cavs had bought the slot to get the 5’9” offensive powerhouse.

In his draft party in Downtown Detroit, a decked-out Kay Felder drowned in cheers and screams when his name was called.

Prior to the Draft, he was ranked 56 on DraftExpress’s top 100 prospects.
