The turning point of the season so far came during Oakland’s series against Northern Kentucky on March 20–21, which carried momentum into the following week. Oakland has focused on tightening both its pitching rotation and offensive execution.
The results have been encouraging, as the team has hovered around competitive .500 baseball in conference play while remaining a tough out for opponents.
