Oakland Post named Pacemaker finalist
The Oakland Post was named an Associate Collegiate Press Pacemaker finalist Friday.
The Pacemaker award is the highest honor a college newspaper can receive and is based on the following: coverage and content, quality of writing and reporting, leadership on the opinion page, evidence of in-depth reporting, design, photography, art and graphics.
The award will be announced at the ACP conference in Chicago on Nov. 3.
