Homemade hot chocolate mix: A gift to stay warm

What better way to stay warm during the cold and miserable months of January- March (due to living in Michigan I guess you could consider April cold too,) than a delicious cup of hot chocolate? This quick and easy gift idea is great for any occasion and it will literally take you no more than 2 minutes to create

 

What you will need:

 

1. Any type of jar with a lid

2. Mini marshmallows

3. Semi-sweet chocolate chips

4. Cocoa powder

5. Non-fat dry milk

6. Powdered sugar

7. Ribbon

     Instructions:

  1. Pour ¾ cup of dry milk into the jar.
  2. Pour ¾ cup of cocoa powder into the jar on top of the dry milk.
  3. Pour ¾ of powdered sugar on top of the cocoa powder.
  4. Add chocolate chips to the top of the previous three ingredients.
  5. Top off the jar with mini marshmallows.
  6. Tie a ribbon of your choice around the jar for the final look.
  7. Give to the person of your choice. All they will have to do after receiving the gift is add hot water to a single serving, stir until the mixture is completely dissolved and enjoy!
