DIY: beef and veggie stir-fry

Cook for about 10 minutes after adding the sauce to the pan.

For all the Oriental food lovers out there I’m here to save the day. This yummy beef and veggie stir-fry is absolutely delicious and only takes 10 minutes to make after prep time. The flavors are a perfect mixture to keep your friends and family coming back for more, so grab your chopsticks and enjoy!

What you will need: 

  1. Baking soda
  2. Cornstarch
  3. Brown sugar
  4. Flour
  5. Sugar
  6. Low sodium soy sauce
  7. White or brown rice
  8. Flank steak
  9. Vegetable oil

What to do:

  1. First, Add ½ tsp. of baking soda, 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. water and 2 tbsp. vegetable oil into a large bowl and whisk it together.
  2. Cut the steak into small pieces and add it to the marinade. Once it is soaked in this take it out and refrigerate it for an hour.
  3. When the hour is up you are ready for the next steps. Next, whisk together ½ cup or soy sauce, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. of minced garlic, 2 tbsp. of flour and 3 tbsp. of vegetable oil in a small bowl.
  4. Add two tbsp. vegetable oil to a medium pan and cook the meet for about 2 minutes.
  5. Then, add in the vegetables as well as the sauce. Cook for about 10 minutes. While you are doing this you should also make the rice that way everything will be prepared and ready to eat at the same time.
  6. Serve with pita bread and enjoy!
