Love your body

Give yourself reasons to love your body and not hate it.  As college students we are surrounded by positive influences each day whether it be a club we are a member of or interacting with encouraging students in the classroom we have opportunities to see the positivity each day, but sometimes we are our worst enemy. 

We bring ourselves down for the differences we see between us.  When in reality, those differences should be celebrated not frowned upon. When it comes to our bodies, many of us pick out the negatives we see: I’m not thin enough…I’m not good looking …I don’t like my arms… Let’s stop right there and change the negative talk about our bodies and focus on how we can make it positive.  I love that I am strong.  I love that I can smile every day. Most importantly I love that I am different and I am going to embrace it.  Find a reason to love your body and think about it daily because each individual is unique in their own way.  Let the love for our bodies drive us to see the beauty in not only ourselves, but in others as well.
