Distribution Director at The Oakland Post, Sam is a junior, part of the Honors College, majoring in Biology and hoping to become a doctor in the future. She joined the Post to be more involved on campus. Sam enjoys walking around campus and interacting with people as she passes out the papers — it’s a fun and relaxing job.

Sam is very passionate about volunteering and traveling. She currently volunteers regularly at a hospital, a soup kitchen and the Red Cross. In the near future, Sam plans on going to volunteer internationally if everything works out. Traveling, trying out new cuisines, learning a new culture and helping people are part of who she is as a person.

In her free time, Sam likes to cook new food, paint landscapes, go on a hike, take care of her fish and spend time with her family and friends.
