Maddie Parker is a senior at Oakland University and is pursuing her BFA in Dance Performance. She has been in the role of Advertising Director with the Oakland Post since February 2021, and strives to create effective communication with advertisers as well as organization within her department.

Maddie’s background includes working as the student editor for her high school’s yearbook, where she managed other students on the yearbook staff in gaining advertisers, taking pictures, writing stories, and creating layouts. While she does love reading and writing, Maddie has found an appreciation for the organization and networking that come with working in advertising.

When she is not working on projects with the Oakland Post, Maddie can be found dancing, taking a nap, or hanging out with her dog, Rory.
