Travis Bader named Summit League Player of the Week

Junior guard Travis Bader was named The Summit League Player of the Week on Monday.

The honor came on the heels of his historic night against IUPUI at the O’rena, shooting a career-high and Division 1 record 47 points along with 11 three-pointers.

Against league-leading Western Illinois on Saturday, Bader’s 26 points helped propel the Grizzlies to victory.

Bader averaged 36.5 points per game over the week of Jan. 21-27. He leads the nation in three-point shooting with 94 points.

Bader was also named as National Player of the Week by ESPN’s Dick Vitale.

To add to his collection this week, Bader earned the Lou Henson Award National Player of the Week honors. This award is presented weekly to the top Mid-Major player in Division 1 college hoops.
