Sophomore transfer forward Tommie McCune was dismissed from the Oakland men’s basketball team due to a violation of team policies. Head coach Greg Kampe announced the news Wednesday.

After playing 13 games for the West Virginia Mountaineers, McCune transferred to Oakland before the 2012-13 season.

McCune is a native of Saginaw.
