Welcome Week at Oakland University for the 2013 school year is from September 3 through 13.

This annual week is filled with activities to bring the campus together, incoming freshmen and returning students.

As summer comes to a close, Oakland brings in the fall semester through BBQ’s, bonfires, movie premieres and the Sigma Pi Fraternity, 19th Annual Pig Roast, which will be on September 6, from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Students will have the chance to take advantage of the bear bus and shuttles at The Resident Halls Association: Mall Crawl on September 2, from noon to 5 p.m., and Athletics: Meijer Mania on September 3, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Students will meet for these two events in Hamlin Circle.
