Stomach Bug
An officer was conducting a building check of the Oakland Center at 2:30 p.m. on Oct 5, and they were notified that a young lady had collapsed and vomited in the food court. She was asking for medical attention, and the officer made contact with the individual immediately. The officer arrived to find the individual sitting conscious on the floor. The officer then radioed Oakland University Police dispatch and requested the Auburn Hills Fire Department. The woman said she suddenly felt dizzy, then collapsed and threw up. She said she had not eaten all day but had some water. The officer informed her that an ambulance was on its way, and while they were waiting, she was able to stand and walk over to a table under her own power. Auburn Hills Fire Department arrived and took her vitals, but eventually she refused transport to a hospital. The scene was then cleared without further incident.
