James Paige, Kimberly’s husband, planned on surprising his wife with a secret trip to Chick-fil-A this past Sweetest Day, but the holiday fell on a Saturday, so the location was closed. This setback didn’t discourage the family from making the trip again for the hard-to-find chicken. “I’m a strip man, and the fries are delicious,”Mr. Paige insisted shortly after finishing his meal. Mrs. Paige said she prefers the nuggets, with a few honey mustard packets on the side to dip with. Before departing on the long drive back to Oak Park, Mr. Paige made sure to take a few extra Chick-fil-A sauces home with him in his coat pocket, assuring us that they’d “most definitely” be back to the restaurant soon.
