The Oakland University athletic department announced this week the hire of local sports radio personality and longtime Detroit News columnist Terry Foster.

Foster will write stories about the men’s basketball team that go beyond the court.

“We are extremely excited about adding Terry’s expertise to our men’s basketball coverage,” said MacDonald. “Terry does a tremendous job on the radio and his writing skills and creativity will bring a different angle for our fans to read about on GoldenGrizzlies.com.”

Foster is known for his daily radio show with Mike Valenti on 97.1 The Ticket and for his time with the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University.
