Written and created by Oakland University’s own, Mike Caravaggio, who is working hard to dismantle the myths and clichés of exercise and nutrition, presents you with legitimate, research-based information to lead an efficient, active lifestyle.
A bit about Mike…
Education: Currently engaged in the Master of Science in Exercise Science program at OU, specializing in Cardiac Rehabilitation; Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at OU (2008); Certified Fitness Trainer since 2006 (currently certified through ISSA)
Health & Fitness Experience: Personally involved in exercise for over 13 years; professional trainer at Fitness 19 of Rochester Hills since 2009; Emergency Medical Technician since 2010; three years experience as a Physical Therapist Aide with HealthQuest Physical Therapy; avid runner participating in numerous distance running and endurance events with personal favorites being the annual Mackinac Island race and Swampfoot challenge held in St. Clair, Mich.
