Matthew Scheidel, Sports Editor
Matthew Scheidel is the Sports Editor at The Oakland Post. He is a senior majoring in journalism. He transferred from Grand Rapids Community College for the 2020-21 school year and started at The Post as a sports reporter during the winter 2021 semester.
He was a staff reporter for GRCC’s student newspaper, The Collegiate for three semesters before serving as the Editor-in-Chief for the summer semester in 2019.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys playing video games and watching and following sports, mainly baseball.
