The Auburn Hills Fire Department was called to the Recreation and Athletic center on Feb. 11. A student was injured while playing basketball and suspected that he had broken his finger. The student was transported to Crittenton Hospital by the fire department.

Hamlin Hall was evacuated at approximately 9:30 pm on Feb. 13 when police responded to a dryer in the third floor laundry room that had caught fire. The dryer was still smoking after having been sprayed with a fire extinguisher.  The Auburn Hills Fire Department were called and declared the building safe for students to return.

A student contacted police on Feb. 15 after $50 was stolen out of his wallet. The student left his wallet and cell phone in an unlocked locker while he worked out at the Recreation and Athletic Center. Police investigated the scene but currently have no suspects in the robbery. All students are advised to use locks when they keep their personal belongings in lockers at the Rec.

Police were called to Hamlin Hall on Feb. 17 to investigate a report of a missing cell phone. A student left her cell phone sitting on a table in her dorm room while she went down the hall to a friend's room. When she returned she realized the phone was missing. Police interviewed several students in the dorm but were unable to locate the phone.
