Student Program Board hosts first Fall Fest

“It’s a great way to gather the student body and create a sense of togetherness,” Tacora Bradley, creative director of SPB, said.

The event featured a Thanksgiving dinner as well as desserts.

“The Thanksgiving theme really gets people in the mood for the holiday,” Dezarea Wade, diversity director of SPB, said. “It allows us all to join together around this time of year.”

The evening also included a performance by Nelly’s Echo a former contestant on NBC’s show “The Voice.”  The performance included renditions of “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson and “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz.

The event also featured various arts and crafts including decorating masks and candy collages. A balloon twister and airbrush artist were also present for the students to enjoy.

“The night was a huge success,” Tacora said. “I can’t wait until next year when we can do it all again.”
