The Varner Vitality Lecture Series, Student Life Lecture Board and Oakland University Alumni Association will present “An Evening with Dr. Jane Goodall” March 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. Goodall will speak at the O’rena and will discuss Sowing the Seeds of Hope.

In Sowing the Seeds of Hope, Goodall will talk about the current threats facing the planet and encourage the audience to do their part to make a positive difference each day, according to www.janedegoodall.org

Tickets for the event will be available Feb. 12 at 9 a.m. at the Center for Student Activities service window in the Oakland Center.  This event is free for all students, faculty and staff plus one free ticket for a guest. The first 200 alumni will also receive two free tickets.

The price of additional tickets and those for elementary, high school and other university students is $5. The event is free for children 6 years old and under, and $10 for the general public.
