Women’s tennis falls short in season openers

The

women’s tennis team opened their season 0-2 last weekend, falling to both

Akron, 6-1, and Detroit-Mercy, 7-0, at Lifetime Fitness. In her debut last

Friday, junior Lindsay Grimmer lost her first singles match 1-6, but came back

to win the next two, 6-4 and 10-7. Grimmer dropped her matches 6-3, 3-6 and

10-6. Next up are Southern Utah and Dixie State Feb. 25-27 in Las Vegas.
