A reinvigorated Oakland men’s basketball team snapped its six-game losing streak, defeating the visiting IUPUI Jaguars 93-81 at the O’rena Saturday evening.

After losing four straight games, the Oakland University women’s basketball team was looking to start the new year off with a much needed victory. Junior Bethany Watterworth led the Golden Grizzlies (6-8; 2-3) to that win, notching 27 points in a 54-50 victory over Summit League rival IUPUI (6-10; 1-3).
