Men’s soccer secures spot in conference tournament

The Oakland University men's soccer team needed a win Saturday to secure a spot in the Summit League Tournament, which host next weekend at the OU Soccer Field. The Golden Grizzlies came through with a 2-0 lead to clinch the No. 4 seed in the league tournament.

Women’s soccer enters Summit League Tournament as No. 1 seed

Oakland capped off the regular season with an unbeaten record in the Summit League and enters the league tournament as the top seed. The Golden Grizzlies (12-5-2, 8-0-1 Summit League) will take on Western Illinois in the first round.

The Golden Grizzlies (0-2) fell short in a tri-meet Saturday at the OU Aquatic Center, losing to No. 7 Michigan, 185-105 and to Notre Dame, 166-132. The Wolverines (2-0) defeated the Fighting Irish (2-1), 172-120 to win the meet.
