Meadow Brook Road to close March 23-24

Portions of Meadow Brook Road will be closed beginning March 23 at 9:30 a.m. and will last throughout the weekend, according to an email sent out by the university.

Meadow Brook Road will be shut down in order to facilitate the moving of the Meadow Brook Sheep Barn. The Barn will be relocated from its current location in P5 to the north side of P61 on the east side of campus.

Originally a part of the Meadow Brook estate, the barn must be moved before the construction of the new residence hall begins April 1, according to the email.

To access Meadow Brook Hall and Sunset Terrace, the alternate Adams Road entrance located south of Meadow Brook Road and Adams Road intersection will be opened and monitored by the Oakland University Police Department.
