Campus roads to close Sunday due to Brooksie Way Half Marathon and 5K

Various roads will be closed Sunday to accommodate the runners of the Brooksie Way Half Marathon and 5K events, which start at 8:15 am.
Road closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to about noon, according to Oakland University Chief of Police Samuel Lucido.
The Police Department plans to close Ravine Drive from Pioneer to Meadow Brook Road and Meadow Brook Road from Ravine Drive to Adams Road. Only golf course patrons will have access from Adams Road through the entrance gate south of Meadow Brook Road.
Campus entrances and exits on Squirrel Road, Walton Boulevard and West Oakland will stay open.
