Rockstar Energy Uproar Fest 2012 made its stop at DTE Music Energy Theatre last weekend, showcasing the best of veteran and new hard rock. The Oakland Post had to opportunity to catch up to some of the bands, including FOZZY.

Fronted by vocalist and professional wrestler Chris Jericho, FOZZY has spent the better part of a decade making a name for themselves and carving out a new niche of fans along the way. Aug. 14 saw the release of their new album “SIN AND BONES.”

The Duke of Metal, Rich Ward, guitarist and back up vocals for FOZZY, sat down with The Oakland Post to discuss their new release and evolution as a band.
