Oakland’s website down after unplanned outage

The Oakland University website has been down for several hours after an unplanned outage, according to Chief Information Officer Theresa Rowe.

“I found the site down around 8 a.m. and filed a tech report,” Rowe said. “I just received confirmation that the services are down. This is an unplanned outage. I don’t know how long it will take to fix.”

Webmail, Moodle, MySAIL and SAIL are still available through direct links.

The Oakland Post will continue to update the story as more information becomes available.
