Oakland University’s men’s basketball team added their fifth win of the season on Thursday beating the South Dakota Coyotes, 101-83.

The Golden Grizzlies have won 30 straight league games at home, which is third best in the NCAA.

Guard Travis Bader led the game with 28 points and draining eight three pointers, his career-high points and three-pointers made.

Senior guard Reggie Hamilton added 16 points and five rebounds. Forward Drew Valentine scored 18 points and nine rebounds.

Center Corey Petros finished with ten points and ten rebounds, his second double-double of the season.

In the first few minutes of the game, Grizzlies managed to keep a lead over the Coyotes with as much as 23 points.

Oakland is now 50-3 in their last 53 games against league opponents.

On Dec. 3, Oakland will be continuing the marathon of home games with welcoming UMKC (4-4, 1-0) the O’rena.

The game begins at 6 p.m.
