Below is an e-mail sent out to the Oakland University community from OUs VP of Finance and Administration, John Beaghan, explaining the situation in Graham Health Center and Wilson Hall.
“Earlier today a leak in the High Temp Hot Water (HTHW) line servicing Wilson Hall and Graham Health Center was identified.
Beginning at noon today, Monday, January 25th, the HTHW lines were turned off to allow the lines to cool and a contractor to begin repair work.  The current estimate to complete repairs is 2 – 3 days.  The down time will result in a loss of heat for both buildings during the repair.
In addition, west bound Wilson Boulevard will be closed to traffic, with east bound Wilson Boulevard serving two way traffic while repairs are underway.
Domestic hot water systems in Wilson Hall and Graham Health Center will be operational during the shut-down to provide hot water in the restrooms.
If you have questions, please contact Diane Bruglio, 2160.”
