Grizz Welcomes 2009 Midnite Madnezz

Friday’s Midnite Madnezz marked the official start of the 2009-10 basketball season. Hundreds of green glow sticks covered the O’Rena as the Grizz, and the cheer and dance teams, welcomed Oakland’s sports teams into center court. Each player on the men’s and women’s basketball teams were introduced one by one as they ran through the fog into the screaming arena. Pictured is men’s basketball point guard, Johnathon Jones.
